Every year United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies offers PhD and Postdoctoral fellowships to provide young scholars and
policy-makers, especially from the developing world,
with a multi-disciplinary context within which to pursue advanced research and training that are of professional interest to the successful applicant and of direct relevance to the research agenda of their selected UNU-IAS or UNU-ISP programme.About 8-10 fellowships will be awarded in total in 2012 for three types of fellowships: Ph.D. Fellowships, Postdoctoral Fellowships and JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowships.
