Senior Lecturer/Reader/Chair in Critical Environmental Social Science (ref ENVEE0039) in the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI), School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds

University of Leeds seeks an established academic with expertise in critical and theoretical social science approaches to political or social aspects of environmental decision-making and societal behaviour.You should have a strong

internationally recognised publication record, track record of research income generation and teaching experience. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the Institute’s research profile and to its management and development, as well as to contribute to research student supervision and to the School’s integrated teaching programmes. With over 30 staff and 45 PhD students, SRI forms a substantial part of one of the strongest Schools of Earth and Environmental Sciences in the UK. Research in SRI spans environmental social sciences and combines social and natural sciences in leading-edge, interdisciplinary research. SRI staff also lead successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on different dimensions of sustainability.
