The Department of
Computational Landscape Ecology (CLE) invite applications for a position on Scientific coordination and management of research activities at UFZ in the field of land use options and biodiversity (m/f) code digit 131/2011 to commence as
soon as possible. The appointment is for an initial period of 3 years, an extension is aspired.
We seek a highly motivated, team-oriented scientist with a wide range of backgrounds in environmental science and experience in scientific management of interdisciplinary research activities. The position has four facets: scientific management of the research topic on land use options and biodiversity of the UFZ, supporting the exchange between the scientific directorate and the core group of researchers in the area, identification, implementation and support of coreprojects, and developing and organization of overarching/synthesis publications and outreach activities. We expect experiences in scientific management, excellent communication abilities and social skills.

The place of work is Leipzig, Germany. Salary will be according to the appropriate civil service level, salary group up to 14 TVÖD, depending on personal pre-conditions.
