The International Degrowth Conferences 2018

The Support Group of the International Degrowth Conferences is happy to announce three degrowth events for 2018. After the conferences in Paris (2008), Barcelona (2010), Venice and Montreal (2012), Leipzig (2014) and Budapest (2016), (https://degrowth.org/conferences/) in 2018 there will be:

W3-Professorship ‘Biodiversity Economics’

Integrative biodiversity research is interdisciplinary at heart, bridging different disciplines like biology, ecology, forestry, agriculture, economics, and social sciences. In contrast to classical ecology, it recognizes ecosystems as complex socio-ecological systems where humans impact on as well as manage and obtain benefits from biodiversity.
