Position Description
The NOVA School of Science and Technology (Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa) announces an open international competition for the position of Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences and Engineering, with emphasis on Ecological Economics and System Dynamics within the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering.
Candidates are expected to engage in CENSE – Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research (https://www.cense.fct.unl.pt), in the Ecological Economics and Environmental Management area.
Requirements
- Hold a doctoral degree in Environmental Science and Engineering, Ecological/Environmental Economics, or similar.
- The candidates must have qualification in environment science and engineering,
- ecological/environmental economics or simila
- Proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
- Significant curriculum vitae in the relevant disciplinary area.
- Preference for candidates with an international curriculum.

Scientific Merit (60%)
Teaching Merit (20%)
Merit of Other Activities Relevant to the University Institution’s Mission (5%)
Educational and Scientific Merit of the Report (15%)
