DFID is undertaking a round of external recruitment, including for Livelihoods advisers and Climate-Environment advisers. DFID has a range of current, or anticipated, vacancies in locations to be confirmed overseas, and potentially also in DFIDs HQ office in Scotland (or occasionally London).
DFID is aiming to create
a talent pool of DFID Advisers who are willing and able to work in conflict and fragile states. They are particularly interested in identifying candidates with appropriate experience and competencies who are able and willing to serve in such posts. Successful candidates will be expected to take up such posts over the course of their first five years working with DFID. The links to the adverts on the DFID external website are given below:
